Just got to Bangkok… we’ve actually been meaning to post about this for the past two weeks but haven’t had a chance to write anything decent. Going to sleep now as we just realized it’s 6am Melbourne time and we haven’t slept since yesterday! Going apartment hunting tomorrow (!) but will write and tell y’all about it after! Here is the amazing sunset view we were greeted with on arrival in the city of angels.
City of Angels
March 5th, 2010

Isn’t LA also the city of angels??? Confusing. OMG so sad I didn’t get to say goodbye. Will miss you guys, bloody wish I could visit. Have fun. Good luck with Discount, can’t wait to see what you guys come up with over there. Omg are you gonna get your facebook back Nadia? Now your away its the only way to chat.
Bangkok literally translates to City of Angels! Maybe LA stole it from them haha. We haven’t had time to leak much about what we’re doing here yet, but a big post is coming soon (we mean it this time) – and we are taking a lot of pics along the way! Hayley – so sad we didn’t get to have last time goodbyes! You should come visit if you can! There is some AMAZING fashion going on here, the kids here are wayyy more onto it than in Melbourne town.
Charmduri – that’s amazing – we hope that it works out to be even more than you dream of… meeting your whole family – wow! Let us know if you want to hang out over here! (although we’re sure you’ll be pretty damn busy – what a roller coaster!)
Promise to update within a day with more info! xxx
Holy crap you guys moved to Bangkok!? Tell us more! How long are you planning to stay? What are you doing there? Please share photos of your experience!
I’m going to Bangkok in June to meet my mother, my little sister and family that I’ve never met. I’m so excited! Enjoy your trip and good luck with apartment hunting :-)
I am really jealous. bangkok is amazing. Last time I was there we went to a tattoo contest out front of MBK. I should post the video of a local punk band on stage and some photo’s. I think you guys would really dig the scene. I saw most of the kids there at Chatuchak weekend market selling all their awesome get-ups.
The food in Bangkok is yummy and not expensive, all the locals we met were very nice and eager to advice use. We stayed at Bann Thai Resort and Spa- a completely different place to the busy tourist trap in the west of Bangkok City like that KhaoSan Road place.
