Saw that film, Ed Wood the other night, bit of a let down really. I thought it might be a bit more… I dunno – maybe the cast fooled me, Bill Murray, Johnny Depp… but no, I found myself glancing sideways at Kitty a bunch of times wondering if there was going to be any real point. Murray was still genius as usual, should have had a bigger role. I know it’s a true story and all but I just didn’t fall in love whatsoever. The best part was the character Vampira. But after searching aimlessly I couldn’t find images on the net of the bits where she had blonde hair – it was softly crimped and looked unreal with those eyebrows. Anyway, here’s her with the black hair and one I found with a shaved head, oddly enough. One day, I may attempt that look.
Another thing, how fucking annoying is it when you can’t find what you’re looking for on the net?! I was under the impression that it could provide photographic results for basically ANYTHING at all, like seriously, you could be looking for golden elephant shaped napkin rings in Spain, whatever the fuck. I watched that The Cook The Thief His Wife and Her Lover the other week and wanted to post about the Gaultier costumes and couldn’t find shit. Devastating. Screen shots it is. If only I could figure out how to fix the region code lock on my computer – who watches region 1 anyway!?!

(I realized on reflection this post is pretty inconsisto – just go with me on it I guess? It’s 2am alright – geez, ask much from a gal?)
I know it’s a bit annoying watching YOUTUBE’s sometimes, especially when you’re paying an embarrassing amount for bullshit slow internet, but man – these two are some fucking hot stop animation and worth bypassing the time/money conundrum. After posting this stuff though, I doubt I’ll ever have the balls to bother making my own shit, it would be epic fail in comparison. The shit that I made at uni was a complete piss-take and totally cringe worthy, on viewing these I deleted them within minutes… just to make sure no one would ever witness my humility. Ahhhh well, we can’t all have the team, access to factories and specialists, or money behind us that some bloggers are blessed with (…)

This might be less conventionally entertaining but if you’re at all into graphic design and cross-disciplinary media – this kid is a nut case – check his website Hamish Smyth – he’s a mate of mine (in fact he sold me the camera I’m starting to take fucktard amature photos with – I apologize – they will be posted… note: below.) and is also an Adelaide ex-pat. If you read this Hamish, that’s my one claim when you become hugely successful – Home town Bros!
